Get up to $60 credit for Amazon Prime Day

Amazon Prime Day has been scheduled for October 13 and 14.  The 2-day event is usually filled with lightning deals and significant discounts on thousands of items as well as Amazon devices.  In preparation for Amazon Prime Day, you can score up to $60 in Amazon credits with the following promos:

Spend $10+ on a Small Business purchase online, get a $10 credit

This one is perhaps the easiest to get since you don't even have to leave your seat.  Just spend $10+ on a Small Business listed on Amazon through October 12, and you'll get a $10 credit to spend on Prime Day.

Spend $10+ at Whole Foods in-store or online, get a $10 credit

This one is simple too as all you need to do is spend $10+ at Whole Foods in-store or online through October 14, and you'll get a $10 credit to spend on Prime Day.

Spend $10+ at Amazon Fresh in-store, get a $10 credit

This one isn't feasible unless you live near Amazon Fresh's token store in Woodland Hills, California.  The terms and conditions say that it applies to an Amazon Fresh store location only, so it's unclear if Amazon Fresh purchases online qualify.

Spend $10+ at Amazon Books, Amazon Popup, or Amazon 4-Star in-store, get up to $20 in credits

Amazon has a number of locations for Books, Popup, and 4-Star, so this may be doable for more people.  There are actually two promos for spending through October 14: spend $10+ at Amazon Books or Popup, get $10, and spend $10+ at Amazon 4-Star, and get $10 to spend on Prime Day.  So if you live close to any of these locations, you can get up to $20 in credit for Prime Day.

Spend $10+ at an Amazon Go in-store, get a $10 credit

Amazon has a limited number of Amazon Go stores specifically in Chicago, New York, San Francisco, and Seattle, and this promo is useful if you live close to one.  Simply spend $10+ at an Amazon Go in-store through October 14 and get a $10 credit for Prime Day.

Bottom line

You'll want to get your Amazon gift cards, credits, and wallet ready for Amazon Prime Day.  Some of these offers are easy to attain, like the Small Business and Whole Foods $10 credits, whereas the others aren't really feasible unless you live close to a location.  If you have a Chase Freedom or a Chase Freedom Flex card, you can also score 5x Ultimate Rewards (UR) on already discounted Amazon gift card purchases (0.5% off) on the Fluz app by using PayPal.  Chase Ink Cash/Preferred card holders can also get 5x UR on Amazon Business gift card purchases via Fluz, which work the same as regular Amazon gift cards.
